In an effort to respect privacy, BCP does not release the names of its donors to the general public without their express agreement, except as required by law. As an on-going activity, and not arranged only for a particular candidate, party or organization, BCP may rent, at fair market value, mailing and donor lists to other organizations, legislators, and candidates. BCP reserves the right to deny access to donor lists, terminate this policy at any time and cease the rental or exchange of donor names.
POLICY: Access to donor financial information is strictly limited to those associates who need to process the data. The protection of this information is vital to the interests and success of BCP and must be kept confidential at all times.
BCP occasionally shares its donor list in confidential exchanges with similar organizations as part of traditional fundraising efforts and will exclude individual donors from the process upon request.
PROCEDURE: BCP collects and uses basic personal information from donors that include: amount donated, mailing address, telephone number(s), email address(es) and donor comments.
BCP only uses online payment processing services with world-class security and strong reputations. BCP does not store, nor does it have access to donor credit card information, bank account numbers or other account information sent to those processing services.
BCP uses personal donor information for the following purposes:
OPT-OUT: Donors who want to remove their name and contact information from mailing lists BCP shares, rents, or sells (“marketing lists”) should send a request for removal to: info@better-cities.org, or: Donor Relations at 4700 W. Rochelle Ave., #141, Las Vegas, NV 89103. BCP will promptly remove from marketing lists donor name and contact information upon receiving a request for removal.
