Patrick Tuohey is policy director of the Better Cities Project. He works with taxpayers, media, and policymakers to foster understanding of the consequences of policies regarding economic development, taxation, education, and transportation. He also serves as the senior fellow of municipal policy at the Show-Me Institute, a free-market public policy think tank focused on Missouri. Previous to that he worked in market and communications research and worked as an aide to U.S. Rep. John L. Mica (R-Fla.) in Washington, DC.
